Louisville, Ky. (June 30, 2008)—After opening day of the 2008 USA Cycling Masters Road National Championships crowned 30 national champions on Monday in the time trial, a much shorter day Tuesday saw four women’s categories contest the road race.
In Tuesday’s final race, Tracy Tolson (Louisville, Ky.) won the women’s 45-49 title, outsprinting seven others in the 35-mile race and finishing in a time of 1:46:05.
Louisville, Ky. (July 4, 2008)—Some of the nation’s top amateur road cyclists celebrated the Fourth of July on Friday by racing to national criterium titles as the 2008 USA Cycling Masters Road National Championships continued at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky.
In the final race of the day, Tracy Tolson (Louisville, Ky./Kentucky Flyers) added a criterium national title to her road race championship when she captured the 20-mile 45-49 race by outsprinting her two breakaway companions at the line.
